Hello everyone! I'm just posting here to remind of a couple of rules, a change we have made, and to remind of our discord server ^^!!

Rule Reminder: 

Please remember when uploading a CBC that belongs to an existing (and approved) Species, that you include your Masterlist Link! Failure to include your ML link will have your request cancelled and returned to you for correction.

Why do we require this? 
This shows that we are:
1. Validating that your character is a valid character on that Masterlist. 

2. Showing respect to the creator(s) of the species in question, and following the promise to link the Masterlist Entry when permisison to post the species was granted to the site

3. Accountability on our side, showing that we are not allowing fake characters of said species to be created.

It is so very important that you include your ML links when submitting a CBC of a Species. If you notice that you have linked it when submitting but its missing in the Description, feel free to reach out to us to get that corrected. 
It is not automated where it transfers your comments to the final and submitted ML entry, so we have to manually copy and past that link!

Regarding changes to the rules:
We have decided to lift the ban on Dandy World CBCs as the problematic co-owner has been removed from their role of the co-owner and have been removed from the linked Discord for that game as well.

It is always our highest priority to keep our community safe from harm since we are a community of all ages.  We will continue to work hard to protect our community from any type of threats that could harm us in any way. After futher discussion between the admin team, we felt that this was safe to add to the site and server since proper steps have been taken to protect members of Dandy World! 

Please note if you ever come across media that can be harmful to any members of our community, you can contact us on discord, or you are welcome to send in a Report and our admin team will review everything to decide if a Media needs to be banned. We will take all suggestions into consideration but will typically add things to our ban list if we are aware that people have cbcs of that series, if it is a very niche series and no cbcs are made of that series we will likely not list it until it presents as an issue. This is to prevent our ban list from being overly long, but we do notate all considerations and keep an eye out for things from there!!

Do I need permission to post my CBC to the site if I'm not the artist or designer

yes, please! You should have permisison directly from the artist themselves or link their TOS that shows that they do not mind their art/designs being posted out of their preferred platform c:!
If you fail to link a TOS or permission we will cancel your request and you can resubmit it when you have the proper grants available

Can I add additional references to my cbc on the site?

Yes! but only an Admin can do so, please Link us to your cbcs profile and upload the image you wish to upload  via discord or through the claims submisison area (you may upload multiple images) and please make sure you:
-Have it smaller that 2000 x 2000
-Have permission to use this art work (if you are not the artist we will require TOS/Permission)

I want to upload a CBC for a species I don't see on the site! Can I do that?

No! please do not upload any species we do not have permission for, if you have a species cbc you wish to upload, please contact me so I can:

• Get permission from the owner and co-owners to upload the species to the site, we need their permission and source link to list their species and we will not upload or allow any species to be uploaded without permission from the owners themselves.

• if we have asked for permission and it was not granted you will be informed that we do not have perms for that species c:! If that were to change we will let everyone know ^^!

I want my cbc to have a unique Icon, how do I do that?

To do this, simply toggle off the "icon cropper" that pops up, if you're doing it correctly, when you hit "save" you should get your characters profile to look like this:

Please make sure if you're using an icon and it is not drawn by you that you have permisison to use it on our site (TOS/artist perms)

Is (insert name here) ok to upload to the site/discord server?

We typically allow most medias, the only media we do not allow are medias that are overly or intentionally offensive, or media that is overly sexualized in nature. There are a few medias we DO NOT allow on the server or the site, due to these reasons:

• Hetalia (any characters from the show, due to stereotypes, which are offensive to countries and their cultures)
• Helluva boss/ Hazbin hotel (The characters are overly sexualized and we feel it is not appropriate for minors, as many members in this server are minors)
• South Park (Intentionally offensive, while we have no personal issues with the series, the series is made to be a parody of real life figures/ politicians, etc, so it is not allowed on the site/server)
• This list is subject to change at any time and is never exhausted, if we feel a series may be overly disrespectful or insensitive we will add it to this list c:

  We may consider cbcs from the following series:

  Dream SMP
  Any characters that are based on any severely "problematic" content creators are strictly prohibited from being uploaded onto the site (for example: Dream, Wilbur Soot), however any other characters aside from those would be more than alright (for example: Tommyinnit, Quackity). Our admin k1ib0uma will help us when deciding what cbcs for this series will be acceptable!

  How do I know what genre I should put my cbc in? They show up in multiple Genres!

  My answer would be to base it off of the original source, EG: Deadpool Deadpool originated from comics, and while he has some movies, his source material was from a comic, so I would say he would classify under comic however if your deadpool cbc is SPECIFICALLY made after the movie version and you dont want it associated with the comics in any way, you may upload it to the movie genre. We are not strict on this if it spans multiple genres but this would be my suggestion ^^!

  I have a concern about someone on the Site :c What do I do?

  Please submit a Claim to us, provide as much evidence as possible with your claim. The admins will decide what to do with the member in question from there. Do not hesitate to report for any reason, espescially things such as questionable user names based on IRL events, harrasment of any type, cbcs based on dangerous media, etc.

  Can I upload a CBC that is based on multiple characters?

  Yes! We allow cbcs that are a mixture of multiple characters c:! The only change that you need to do is listing your source media/character names: EG: Anime 1/ Anime 2/ Anime 3 Chara name 1/ name 2/ name 3 If your characters are from multiple Genres you will need to decide what genre you want your baby to fall under!

  Are AU cbcs allowed on the site/showing for the server?

  Yes! We allow any cbc to be uploaded as long as it can be linked back to a media source with name, it is allowed EG: Jolteon Killua from HxH, but as a pokemon Mystery dungeon explorer. His personality is a little different but still similar to what hes like in the original.

I just want to thank you all for using our site and seeing so much growth from not only members, but cbcs, and to the gallery as well!

I know the site is taking some getting used to for some people but I hope with time it gets easier c: 

I just want to say how happy and honored I am to be apart of such an amazing and wonderful community that has been so warm and welcoming to everyone who comes along.
I'm honored to have created a safe space for all us cbcers and seeing it grow and flourish so quickly really fills my heart with pride. I have done a lot of learning with building such a large community and I'm still growing as well, I hope I can continue to be a good host for our site and server c:! 

Thank you everyone, I plan to celebrate soon to show my gratitude for the growth, I'm just debating what prize to offer!

Cbc-gardens as a whole is a little limited but there are things we may be able to add!
Cbc-gardens is built with LoreKeeper, which is a site frame and therefore we can only work with what Lorekeeper has options for ^^ but if you have suggestions we can see if that is something that is available or if its something thats in the works!

Hi Friends! Thank you for your patience as we worked hard to build this site up c:! 

You are now able to post your cbcs, upload their images to the galleries, and code your page and characters pages

please note that character coding needs to be rather simple, so your coding should be flat, and not "layered" (EG, multiple tabs, buttons, etc), layered coding WILL NOT work with LK right now but when that changes I will let ya'll know!

Befoe uploading PLEASE be sure to read the rules and TOS of the site:

How do I upload my cbc?

This part is easy! Simply go to "Submit" on the right hand side, then select "Create free MYO"
- If your cbc is not from a CS just select CBC! 

you'll Select the species that your cbc belongs to and hit "create request" 

Next you'll land on a page that has a few tabs! 

-Go to the Comment tab, here you'll include any information we need to know! Such as:
Artist Permission/TOS allowing you to post the design/art outside of TH/CS site (if you are the artist, this does not apply!)
ML link if you are posting a CBC that is from an Approved Species list 
The genre your character comes from (Anime/Manga, Game, Stage Play, etc) 

-Once you finish comment section, Submit your Masterlist image
MAKE SURE YOUR IMAGE DOESNT EXCEED 2000 X 2000 pixels!
Crop the image to include the face of the cbc with the cropper

- Now go to Add ons
just hit save, this doesnt apply to our site! 

-Final step, go to Traits and
Select Character Rarity: Base
Put the Series name, make sure you SPELL IT OUT,  No Acronyms!!
List the CHARACTER your cbc is based on, not your cbcs name! 
EG: Sacarmouche from Genshin Impact

Once you see all the circles are green, go back to the first tab that says "Status" and hit submit! 

From there, an Admin will review your submission and get your babies uploaded c: 

Please be sure to notate again what Genre your cbc falls in that way we can categorize them appropriatley!!
